Since arriving in Kenya, there have been numerous new doors to walk through and experiences placed on the roads before us as a group and myself individually. One which has led to the recent discovery is that I am not a fan of bargaining. Shopping here is not my specialty nor do I enjoy it with passion. A good number of the small business owners met the past few weeks have been eager to have us see their shops and buy all we can. With much still being processed and reflected on as well as continually learning and growing with each day from all that was experienced and seen, I am challenged as to where to begin. Wifi and Internet is extremely limited and scarce here and what ideally would have been a weekly blog has been delayed. That said, I feel the most understandable and suitable...

My name is Lacey, 26 years old and live in Southen California. Fueled by a passion for God, heart for others and call to live as Jesus lived, to love what Jesus loves, and treasure what Jesus treasures, I believe our lives greatest adventure is found in serving Him and eachother. My greatest mission is to live life intentionally, keeping love as the primary objective, greatest ambition and ultimate purpose. My hope is that every individual be empowered to live in their true idenity and live out their God given purpose where I believe and have discovered is where our ultimate freedom and worth is found.

"Until we know Jesus, God is merely a concept, and we can't have faith in Him. But once we hear Jesus say, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father" (John 14:9) we immediately have something that is real, and our faith is limitless…"
