Hebrews 10:23 - "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful."

“We can get caught up in the challenges or we can celebrate where God is taking us and what God is doing."

Since the last post, the days up at the Village have consisted primarily of preschool visitations with a hand full of energetic and vivacious children, home visits for lunch before naps, cuddles in-between and some play when gifted the time. I have also continued Moringa Oleifera educational meetings with the mamas as part of the more holistic addition to their program and work with their physiologist. These gathering with the mums and staff has left them full of further ideas on future harvesting an...

"Isn't it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back.. everything is different." C.S Lewis

"Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you. (Genesis 13:14–15)

Thank all of you following for your prayers and support. Another month has flown by since my last post and I am alive and well minus a few massive mosquito attacks and similar happenings, God has been gracious and made known to be my source of endurance. The time here in this region in Tanzania and up at the village the past near 2 months has been everything and more than I would have imagined or anticipated. As the days begin their countdown to return...

In each situation...

In every circumstance...

May it all become and be seen as an opportunity of life and one in LOVE.

I am continually encouraged by this way of thought, belief and opportunity and in the same I find myself just as confronted and tested leaving more and more room for me to be convinced and re convicted of relating truths. More often than not, things are initially easier said than done as the transfer from the mind to the heart and hands another outworking requiring an even deeper activated faith. This past week and a half has been full, challenging and yet an exciting one, as I had the opportunity to not only to spend time getting to know the mamas here at the home, continued connecting...

The greatest work of art is a changing life...

The storm is raging here in Tanzania as I write this post. Our power is dancing to its own beat once again due to the rapid rate of lightning and thunder which has had me awake since 2 am. While fully enjoying this downpour’s unrelenting sky show in the night, I am hopeful it lets up in time to make it up the hill to the children’s village I am scheduled to be at in the morning where I have arranged to visit the kindergarten (pre school) located on the grounds of the home. As this rain is greatly needed and welcomed, its delay this season has me challenged since it directly affects the time with the children at the village more often than anticipated. I pr...

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” - Romans 15:13

May the peace of Jesus be ours as we delight in God and complete His joy.

Saturday afternoon the 4th of last month, our team (minus a few very important members,) departed  from LAX and safely arrived in Kenya after what we all agreed seemed like a never ending journey. The travel included 3 flights and a few decent layovers. The lack of sleep,(no sleep to be exact,) that I personally experienced didn’t contribute kindly to this long trek. Despite the ongoing journey, once we landed all was more than well; I was back in Kenya and we were all...

An incredible two weeks have now passed since arriving in Africa, from the first week in Kenya with Luvway and their team in the slums of Nairobi to the now current ending of week one back in Mwanza, Tanzania. Through these two weeks, I have been kept in constant awe and caught up in a continuous conversation of experience and communion in regards to the heart of the Father God, His plan and His will. The ongoing exchange of revelation, reminder and rediscovering has been surfacing at an excelled rate and the speed not seeming to slow down anytime in the near future. Though it may be much to take hold of and at times weightier than I think I can withstand, I do hope it does not let up nor slow down. I...

THE OMNIPOTENT MIGHT OF GOD ALMOST ALWAYS FLOWS THROUGH OBEDIENCE ROOTED IN FAITH. - MATT CHANDLER Pastor of the Village Church

The call continues. Whether you are just tuning into following the past 8 months of blogging on the 3.5 months in Africa last summer, or are continuing to keep up, 'Karibu,' welcome! This post will briefly catch you up and provide details on the continued mission moving forward and where that positions me in the months to come.

1st Trip (May to September, 2016) - “Visionary Trip” : God has put Africa on my heart since a child. I was clearly called by God to go last May, so in faith obediently I went. I partnered with Life Pacific College for two w...

"Faith is not a sense, not a sight, nor reason, but simply taking God at His word. - Christmas Evans

In the return, I may have been beyond the stage of or nearing delirium from the lack of sleep but I was safe, sound and home. I was thankful to have arrived back to the states after about a 21 hour flight amongst a near 35 hour eventful journey of both memorable travel and long layovers. I was ripe out of an extended time of near 4 months in multiple countries, partnering with various organizations and ministries. This past September I found myself by God’s grace home. But was I really home? Not a moment escaped before my heart and spirit knew a portion did not make the flight back with...

"In the center of the circle  of the will of God I stand. There can come no second causes,  all must come from His dear hand. All is well! for it's my Father who my life has planned." ~ From Streams in the Desert

"He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.” - Colossians 1:17-18

First and foremost, to answer this title question which I have been receiving; yes, I am back! I landed back in the states the beginning of September. Surprise and thanks be to God for safe travels and renewed health! No more malaria or bugs makes fo...

““You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible. ”" -Matthew 17:20

After over 5 incredibly full, soul stirring and yet beautifully life changing weeks of working in the rocky city of Mwanza Tanzania at Forever Angels baby home, God has revealed marching orders and an invitation for me. Many of you have been asking when I think I may be returning and what God may be revealing at this point in time. Well, a stirring and prayerful thought which was present not long after arriving at the baby home, has developed and been confirm...

"Until we know Jesus, God is merely a concept, and we can't have faith in Him. But once we hear Jesus say, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father" (John 14:9) we immediately have something that is real, and our faith is limitless…"
